November Holiday Fun

I celebrated my first Thanksgiving up in Sonoma and had a terrific time with all of my family.  I even ate part of Thanksgiving dinner and was excited to be offered second helpings! (I had my very own yams and rutabagas.. Delicious)
Zio - Mommy - Daddy - Auntie Adriana & Jacob - Cousin Nikki - Uncle Dom - Uncle Mike

Aunt Janet and Grandma offered me a green bean.  Who needs plastic teething toys when this tastes so much better?!

I just love my Papa!

One of Daddy's favorite things that happens around Thanksgiving is a Turkey Bowl.  Uncle Dom and Daddy rounded up 10 guys to come down tot he Marina Green and mommy even bought flags for the event.  Cousin Jacob, Auntie Adriana. Grandma and my Godmother Jen all came down to cheer on the sidelines.  I loved the wind in my hair and pulling the grass was so much fun!

Uncle Gee and Daddy in action

I was excited to learn that the weekend after Thanksgiving marks the beginning of Christmas cheer! Mommy and Daddy took me to pick out a tree and being the curious guy that I am I just loved looking at all the trees and checking out Santa's sleigh.

Checking out Santa's sleigh and on the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree.

I sure love the sparkling lights!

5 months old

Can you believe it?! I am 5 months old.  My mommy and daddy tell me I get cuter every day.   Based on these photos I must say I agree.

Mommy tries lots of tummy time with me but I am not too interested and quickly flip to my back.

I am a happy boy these days and I especially love all my monkeys.  Mommy says I am still a serious dude and she often finds me pondering how to solve the current economic issues.

You might ask what else a 5 month old is doing.  I am totally digging this Baby Einstein chair that Uncle Karim got for me.

California Baby

Prior to meeting my pediatrician, Dr. Dana, we had never heard of babies kicking off their introduction to solids with lentils.  She says lentils are a natural source of iron (a primary ingredient in rice cereal) and will also help Jack develop a refined palette.  Dr. Dana encouraged mommy to cook with flavors like olive oil, garlic and onions.  She went on to suggest mommy try feeding me root veggies like yams and sweet potatoes ahead of our 6month visit.  Her goal is to have me eating the same food mommy and daddy eat by 10months old.  Well, this California baby gave it a go....

Mmmm... I think I will attack the bowl.  Not too bad for the first night of solid food.

I sure am growing up.  I heard my cousin Jacob started on baby oatmeal so I tried that the last two nights and think I may like it better.

Grandma is planting this California baby his very own veggie garden!

My favorite folks

I have the best daddy in the entire world.  He is my best friend and I get so excited to see him.  My mommy isn't too bad herself.  I am a lucky little boy.

My daddy's first day back at work (8 days old)
It doesn't get much better -- my first baseball game and it just so happened to be at the World Series! My daddy is excited to tell me about this some day.  I am bound to be a huge Giants fan.

Best Friends.  We sure do have a lot of fun together.  I am nothing but smiles for daddy these days.

There sure is a lot of love in this family.  From 3 weeks to 6 weeks to 3 months.

Ladies Man

Well, I guess it is never too early to start charming the ladies.  My mommy is teaching me how to be a gentleman. I  am one lucky guy to have all these little lady friends!

Mommy's good friend from Santa Clara, Megan, has this adorable little girl.  Abby just turned 1 but I am working on my strength so I can keep up with this pretty little lady.

While I was cooking and getting ready to make my big debut, my mommy and daddy took a few classes to get prepared.  She met two terrific ladies (Vanessa and Jen) and they both had little girls. Jen had Charlotte 6 days after I arrived and then Vanessa had Lucy just 13 days after me.  We have regular play dates and I love these two darlings!

Two months old -- we weren't sure about this photo thing.

Charlotte - Jack - Lucy (3 months old)

Charlotte - Jack - Lucy (4 months old)

Mommy's sorority lil' sis, Trish, had baby Ella on September 18th.  It was love at first sight!

The Three Musketeers

I am pretty lucky to have some instant best friends.  My Auntie Adriana and Lauren were kind enough to deliver two buddies within 10 days of my arrival.  I love my cousin Jacob and buddy Jackson.  We are bound to get into trouble together.

Our first photo as a trio. Me (14 days) - Jackson (4 days) - Jacob (6 days)

Look how we have grown these last 4 months.  Well some of us more than others.  I am definitely the beast of this group!!

Jackson and I.  (From 1 month to 2 months.)

Cousin love.  We are just two months old.

The three amigos at three months old.

4 months old. We are growing up.

My last 4 months

My mommy keeps telling me to stop growing up so quickly.  I think this post perfectly depicts what my mom has been talking about.  But hey a boy has to grow -- especially if he is going to be a tennis or basketball star!
My first night on this earth.

My first night at home.

I loved sleeping with my hands over my head as a newborn.

                                                            Already 4 weeks old.

I am one month old here.

Hello world! Welcome to two months.

Welcome to 4 months old!  Mommy is pretty impressed by my hair growth.
